The ZQV 4N/2 cross-connector is a compact bridge designed for plug-in mounting in terminal blocks. Thanks to a 6.1 mm pitch and a width of only 9.9 mm, it occupies minimal space on the DIN rail, allowing for dense packing of components in switchboards with limited surface area.
The housing is made of WEMID - glass fiber reinforced polyamide - which provides high mechanical stiffness with low mass (only 1.37 g per piece). The material meets the UL94-V0 flammability standard, which means self-extinguishing properties and the ability to prevent flame spread - crucial in industrial applications.
Electrical parameters and operational safety
The connector carries a rated current of 32 A, making it suitable for the distribution of signals and potentials in control circuits and auxiliary power supplies. The design is fully insulated, and additional touch protection safeguards against accidental contact with live conductive elements - important both during installation and servicing.
The product has Ex-e certification (confirmed explosion-proof version), meaning compliance with requirements for devices used in explosion-hazardous zones. It also complies with RoHS directives and does not contain SVHC substances.
Compatibility and application
The ZQV 4N/2 cross-connector has been designed to work with Weidmuller maxGUARD Feed-In modules, belonging to the Klippon Z product family. Plugging in the connector enables the connection of potentials between two poles of adjacent terminal blocks without the need for additional wires - the installation is faster, and the switchboard is cleaner.
