The housing made of Wemid plastic provides high thermal resistance - the component operates stably in the range of from -60°C to +130°C, making it suitable for both industrial cold storage and near heat sources in control cabinets. The UL 94 V-0 flammability rating means the material is self-extinguishing once the flame source is removed - an important feature in installations requiring fire certification.

Dimensions of 24.7 × 18.1 × 2.8 mm and a mass of only 2.26 g ensure that the jumper does not mechanically strain delicate terminals - it fits perfectly between adjacent blocks without play or tension.

Operational safety

The insulated housing with a cover protecting against accidental contact eliminates the risk of electric shock during switchgear servicing. The confirmed Ex-e version (increased safety enclosure) allows for use in explosion-hazardous zones - where standard components could pose an ignition source.

Important design limitation: for stability and thermal reasons, a maximum of 60% of the contact elements may be broken off.
