Durable fastening of terminal blocks on TH-35

The ZEW 35/2 end bracket is a component made of Wemid (polyamide PA 66) in a dark beige color, designed for mounting on TS 35 mounting rails (DIN TH-35 mm). Its main task is to provide durable and secure immobilization of the terminal block set on the rail - preventing terminal blocks from shifting during operation, transport, or switchgear servicing.

Installation is screwless, using a snap-on method. Simply press the bracket into the appropriate position on the rail - it snaps into place automatically and holds firmly without additional tools. The offset relative to the rail axis is 41 mm, ensuring proper alignment with the terminal block.

Material and thermal resistance

The Polyamide PA 66 used as raw material guarantees good mechanical strength while providing the flexibility required for the snap-on mechanism. The V-2 according to UL 94 flammability class means the material is self-extinguishing - it does not sustain a flame after the ignition source is removed. The operating temperature range from -50°C to +100°C allows for use in both industrial cold storage and high-temperature environments.

Additional functions and compatibility

The bracket is equipped with a test plug connection and the possibility of installing group markers. WAD type markers (e.g., WAD 5 MC NE WS/GE or WAD 8 MC NE WS/GE) and the EM 8/30 end marker are compatible with it - facilitating clear switchgear labeling and rapid section identification.

ZEW 35/2 is dedicated to the Z series terminal blocks from Weidmüller. The product is compliant with the RoHS directive (without exceptions) and is classified as ETIM EC001041.
