Fast wire installation in a compact housing

The A2C 1.5 feed-through terminal block utilizes PUSH IN technology, which allows for connecting wires without the use of tools - simply insert the stripped end of the wire into the terminal and it's done. The constant clamping force generated by the spring is independent of the operator, ensuring a secure connection from the first connection and resistance to vibrations and shocks occurring in industrial environments.

With a width of only 3.5 mm, the housing accommodates two connection points on a single level - typical for the compact A-series feed-through terminal blocks, where saving space on the TS35 DIN rail is crucial.

Materials and contact durability

Hardened steel in the clamping mechanism transfers mechanical loads without deformation - even with repeated insertion and removal of wires, the spring maintains its elasticity parameters.

Tin-plated copper in the conductive contact ensures low contact resistance (1.83 mΩ according to IEC 60947-7-x) and corrosion resistance in industrial conditions.

The insulator made of Wemid (polyamide) meets the UL 94 V-0 flammability class, meaning the material is self-extinguishing after the fire source is removed - essential in applications requiring fire certification.

Operating range and wire compatibility

The rated connection cross-section of 1.5 mm² supports both solid wires (0.5-1.5 mm²) as well as stranded wires and stranded wires with DIN 46228/1 and DIN 46228/4 ferrules (from 0.14 mm² to 1.5 mm²). For H1/10 and H1.5/10 ferrules, the manufacturer recommends a stripping length of 10 mm, while for other cases, the standard is 8 mm.

The continuous operating temperature range is from -50°C to +130°C, allowing for use in both industrial cold storage and near heat sources - such as control panels or power electronics cabinets.

The rated voltage of 500 V AC at a current of 17.5 A covers typical requirements for control and signaling circuits in industrial automation installations.
