PUSH IN technology simplifies wire connection in control cabinets and switchgear - simply insert the prepared wire into the terminal, and the spring automatically presses it, ensuring permanent contact. Time-consuming screwdriver tightening is eliminated.

The A3C 2.5 feed-through terminal supports single-core wires with a cross-section from 0.14 to 2.5 mm², as well as multi-core and flexible wires (with or without ferrules) - the range extends up to 4 mm². It is suitable for both standard cable installation and flexible wires prepared with DIN 46228/1 and DIN 46228/4 ferrules.

Hardened steel withstands mechanical loads resulting from wire pressure and tension, while tin-plated copper guarantees minimal contact resistance - only 1.33 mΩ according to IEC 60947-7-x.

Rated parameters and operating conditions

A rated current of 24 A at a voltage of 800 V AC/DC allows for use in typical control and power circuits of devices in industrial switchgear. Overvoltage category III and pollution degree 3 ensure compliance with the IEC 60947-7-1 standard.

The Wemid (polyamide) plastic housing features a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, meaning high resistance to flame spread. A continuous operating temperature range from -60°C to +130°C ensures the terminal performs well in both industrial cold storage and near heat sources.

For installations in explosive atmospheres, the manufacturer offers ATEX (TUEV16ATEX7909U) and IECEx (IECEXTUR16.0036U) certificates - the Ex eb II C Gb marking confirms approval for use in explosive gas and dust atmospheres.

DIN rail mounting and accessory compatibility

A width of 5.1 mm allows for dense packing of terminals on the TS 35 rail. Three connection points on one level enable the distribution of one potential to three circuits or connecting them in parallel.
