The feed-through terminal block with PUSH IN technology is a fundamental element in modern control cabinet construction and industrial installations. It is used for the secure connection of solid and stranded conductors in power, signal, and data circuits - where connection reliability and installation speed are critical.

Three connection points on a single level allow for the expansion of the installation without additional intermediate elements. The top connection direction facilitates wire routing and diagnostics in distribution cabinets.

PUSH IN Technology - fast installation

The PUSH IN system simplifies the connection of solid and stranded wires thanks to a spring-loaded clamping mechanism. For stranded wires, the use of DIN 46228/1 or DIN 46228/4 wire ferrules is recommended.

The range of connectable cross-sections is 0,14-4 mm² for stranded and flexible wires and 0,14-2,5 mm² for solid wires. The stripping length is 10 mm.

Construction and materials

The housing made of Wemid plastic is characterized by a flammability class of V-0 according to UL 94.

The contacts are made of hardened steel, which withstands the mechanical loads occurring during operation. A tin-plated copper coating ensures a contact resistance level of 1,33 mΩ and power loss in the order of 0,77 W at full load.

ATEX/IECEx Certificates - protection in explosive zones

The terminal block holds ATEX (TUEV16ATEX7909U) and IECEx (IECEXTUR16.0036U) certificates, allowing its use in explosion-hazardous areas. The ATEX designation is II 2 G D, and the IECEx marking is Ex eb II C Gb. Within these certificates, a voltage of up to 550 V at a current of up to 21 A is permissible.

Approvals also include UL/cURus and CSA certificates, confirming compliance with American and Canadian safety standards for industrial installations.

Operating parameters and environmental conditions

The rated operating voltage is 800 V AC/DC, and the rated current is 24 A. The impulse voltage is 8 kV, ensuring surge resistance in category III (fixed installations). The pollution degree is 3.

Mounting on a TS 35 / TH35 type DIN rail is achieved by sliding the terminal block onto the rail without additional mounting tools - the right side remains open for expanding the terminal strip; an end plate is required to end the strip.
