Feed-through terminal block, PUSH IN, blue, 2.5 mm², 24 A, 800 V, number of connections: 4, A4C 2.5 BL 1521700000
PUSH IN technology and mechanical design
The feed-through terminal block utilizes PUSH IN technology, which allows for fast and tool-free connection of solid wires - simply insert the wire into the terminal, and the spring mechanism automatically ensures stable contact. For stranded wires, it is necessary to press the release button before inserting the stranded conductor.
The housing is made of Wemid thermoplastic, which guarantees resistance to high operating temperatures and high mechanical strength - confirmed by the UL94-V0 flammability rating. The conductive elements are made of hardened steel resistant to mechanical loads and tin-plated copper, which ensures low conduction resistance and durable electrical contact.
Mounting is performed on a TH-35 mm (TS 35) DIN rail using a snap-on mechanism - installation is fast and does not require additional mounting tools.
Electrical parameters and operating range
The rated cross-section is 2,5 mm² at a rated current of 24 A and a rated voltage of 800 V. The impulse withstand voltage is 8 kV, and the permissible operating temperature range is between −60 and +130 °C.
The range of connectable wires is wide - from AWG 28 (0,14 mm²) to AWG 12 (2,5 mm²) for solid wires and up to 4 mm² for stranded wires with or without a ferrule. A contact resistance of 1,33 mΩ means minimal energy loss in the connection.
Certificates and approvals
The product has a full package of international approvals:
- IEC 60947-7-1 - standard specifying requirements for terminal blocks,
- UL E60693 / cURus - US approval,
- CE - compliance with European directives,
- ATEX / IECEx - certificates for use in explosion-hazardous zones (Ex eb II C Gb, II 2 G D), where the maximum voltage is 550 V and the current is 21 A.
The block is also compliant with the RoHS directive and does not contain SVHC substances.
Application and compatibility
Four terminal points on one level allow for routing one potential through four separate circuits - a typical solution in power and control distribution boards. A required end cover protects the last element in the terminal strip sequence from accidental contact with the terminals.
The product is suitable for industrial installations, building automation, and applications requiring ATEX certification - where the reliability of the electrical connection is critical for the safety of the installation.
