The ZDU 1.5 feed-through terminal block is a compact solution for the secure connection and joining of conductors with a constant electrical contact. Made of hardened steel, the components withstand electrical overloads, while tin-plated copper ensures optimal electrical conductivity and long-term connection stability.

Design and materials for durable operation

The insulating housing is made of high-quality Wemid thermoplastic, which is characterized by excellent mechanical and chemical resistance and a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The compact design with a width of 3,5 mm and a height of 51,5 mm (or 37 mm with a mounted DIN rail) allows for dense packing in distribution boards.

The tension clamp connection spring system enables quick tool-free installation - simply insert the prepared conductor until spring resistance is felt. The single-level architecture ensures stable contact maintenance even during vibrations or temperature changes.

Electrical and environmental parameters

The device operates at a rated voltage of 500 V AC/DC and a current of 17,5 A, making it suitable for most industrial automation and building installation applications. The operating temperature range is from -50°C to +120°C, allowing for installation in both cold storage and hot industrial environments.

It supports solid and stranded conductors with a cross-section of 0,5-1,5 mm², including ferrules according to DIN 46228/1 and DIN 46228/4 standards. The standard stripping length is 10 mm, and the maximum AWG cross-section is 16 AWG.
