Three levels in one terminal - a compact solution for industrial switchgear

The three-layer design of this terminal block allows for the connection of up to six wires in a very small space - the housing width is just 5.1 mm, and the height is 64.5 mm. This connection density leaves more room for other components in control cabinets and industrial automation switchgear. Mounting on the TS 35 DIN rail is standard and requires no additional adapters.

PUSH IN technology allows for the insertion of solid, stranded, and flexible wires without the use of tools - simply insert the stripped end of the conductor into the opening, and the spring clamping mechanism ensures a secure connection. For flexible wires with ferrule ends (DIN 46228/1 and DIN 46228/4), both longer and shorter ferrules are supported. The maximum working cross-section is 2.5 mm², which corresponds to the AWG 28-12 range.

Construction and materials

The housing is made of Wemid - a thermoplastic polyamide resistant to high operating temperatures (up to 130°C) and classified as UL94 V-0, which means self-extinguishing properties even in case of flame contact. The conductive elements are made of tin-plated copper - such a combination guarantees low contact resistance and electrical stability during operation. The internal levels are electrically connected to each other via cross jumpers.

The operating temperature range from -60°C to +130°C allows for the use of this terminal in both industrial cold storage and high-temperature environments.

Electrical parameters and approvals

The rated operating voltage is 800 V AC, and the rated current is 22 A. The product complies with the IEC 60947-7-x standard for terminal blocks and holds ATEX and IECEx certificates for use in explosion-hazardous zones - as confirmed by the EN 60079-7 Ex designation. It also meets RoHS directive requirements and is phthalate-free.

For installations requiring expansion, dedicated accessories are available - N series ZQV cross jumpers (insulated, in orange, blue, and red colors), AEP 3T 2.5 end plates, and ZST mounting clips for TS 35 rails.

The A3T multi-level block is ideal where space must be saved while maintaining full switchgear functionality - in PLC applications, machine control systems, and process installations.
