Spring clamp for TH-35 rails - quick tool-free mounting

The Z-series feed-through connector allows for the connection of two conductors at a single point. Thanks to the spring clamp (Zugfeder), installation is reduced to simply inserting the bare conductor into the opening - the lock occurs automatically via spring pressure. Suitable for solid, stranded, and multi-core conductors with a cross-section from 1,5 to 16 mm² (depending on the type). It requires no tightening tools or regular re-tightening, which eliminates the risk of connection loosening due to vibrations or temperature changes.

Electrical parameters and durability

A rated current of 57 A at a voltage of 1000 V AC allows for application in medium-power distribution circuits - powering motors, drives, or automation modules. The thermoplastic housing meets the UL94 V0 flammability class, meaning the material is self-extinguishing once the fire source is removed. An operating temperature range from -50°C to +120°C makes the connector suitable for both industrial cold storage and near heat-generating components.

Additionally, the product features certified explosion-proof design Ex-e (EEx e) - approved for use in explosion-hazardous zones where electrical devices with increased structural safety are installed.

DIN rail mounting and compatibility

The width of 10 mm corresponds to the standard pitch for Weidmüller Z-series terminal blocks. The height of 73,5 mm and depth of 49,5 mm ensure compatibility with mounting accessories (end plates, comb connectors) available in the manufacturer's range.

The top-entry connection position facilitates wire routing and diagnostics - each conductor is visible without the need for disassembly. The blue color serves as a functional marking (often used for neutral or signal wires), and an end plate is required to properly close the terminal strip.

The product is intended for installation with copper conductors.
