Professional thermometer for heating systems
The WIKA A43 bimetallic thermometer is a proven measurement solution designed specifically for heating technologies. This model is a standard version intended for simple and reliable temperature readings in district heating installations, offering high manufacturing quality.
The device finds wide application in district heating systems, hot water tanks, solar collectors, and heat exchange stations. Thanks to its modular design, it allows for various combinations of housing materials, nominal sizes, scale ranges, and probe lengths, while maintaining essential installation dimensions.
High-quality construction and materials
The thermometer housing with a diameter of 100 mm is made of galvanized steel, ensuring corrosion resistance and long-term durability in industrial conditions. The measuring element consists of a bimetallic coil that guarantees stable and precise measurements.
The probe with a diameter of 9 mm is made of aluminum with a length of 100 mm, enabling optimal thermal contact with the measuring medium. The thermometer well, made of brass, is detachable and screw-on, operating at a maximum working pressure of 6 bar. An acrylic glass (SAN) protects the mechanism from mechanical damage.
The G1/2B process connection enables standard threaded mounting. The pointer, made of black plastic, ensures excellent reading legibility against the temperature scale.
Operating parameters and measurement accuracy
The thermometer offers a wide indication range from 0°C to 120°C, covering typical temperature monitoring needs in heating systems. The accuracy class of 2,0 according to DIN EN 13190 guarantees the required precision of readings characteristic of professional district heating applications.
The standard scope of delivery includes a complete thermometer well allowing for safe operation under pressure. The modular construction allows for easy configuration adjustment to specific installation requirements without the need to change basic design parameters.
Functional properties and operational advantages
The A43 design is characterized by solid workmanship while maintaining production cost-effectiveness. The bimetallic element ensures measurement stability over time and resistance to vibrations and shocks typical of industrial environments.
The device has been designed with simple installation and operation in mind. The detachable thermometer well facilitates servicing and maintenance without the need to dismantle the entire installation. The legible temperature scale and contrasting pointer enable quick and accurate readings even in difficult lighting conditions.
The model meets all European standard requirements regarding safety and temperature measurement quality in heating applications.
