Professional Bimetallic Thermometer for Heating Systems
The A43 bimetallic thermometer is a proven measurement solution specifically designed for heating technologies. This model represents the standard version intended for simple and reliable temperature indications in district heating installations, offering high-quality workmanship.
Construction and Materials
The thermometer housing with a diameter of 100 mm is made of galvanized steel, ensuring corrosion resistance and long-term durability in industrial environments. The measuring element is a bimetallic spiral, which converts temperature changes into precise scale readings. The sensor, with a length of 40 mm and a diameter of 9 mm, is made of aluminum, a material with excellent thermal conductivity properties.
The thermowell, made of copper alloy (brass), is removable and screw-mounted, enabling easy installation and removal. The acrylic (SAN) glass protects the internal mechanism from mechanical damage and contamination while maintaining good scale readability.
Operating Parameters and Measurement Accuracy
The thermometer offers a wide measuring range from 0°C to 120°C, covering typical requirements of heating systems. Accuracy class 2.0 according to DIN EN 13190 ensures the required precision of readings for district heating applications. The process connection G1/2B enables standard threaded mounting in installations.
The thermowell can operate at a maximum working pressure of up to 6 bar, ensuring safe operation in most heating systems. The modular construction of model A43 allows for various combinations of housing materials, nominal sizes, scale ranges, and sensor lengths.
Application in Heating Technology
The thermometer is widely used in district heating systems for monitoring the temperature of the heating medium. Domestic hot water tank installations and solar collectors require precise monitoring of operating parameters to ensure optimal system performance.
Heat exchange stations as well as two-function and single-function boiler installations require reliable monitoring of operating parameters. Zero adjustment located at the bottom of the sensor enables easy calibration of the device before installation or during system maintenance.
