Bimetallic Thermometer for District Heating Systems
The WIKA A43 bimetallic thermometer is designed for temperature measurement in heating installations and district heating systems. This model features a case diameter of 63 mm, enabling installation in standard mounting locations.
Construction and Materials
The device is manufactured from high-quality materials resistant to conditions typical of heating systems. The galvanized steel case provides long-term protection against corrosion and mechanical damage, which is particularly important in high-humidity environments typical of boiler rooms and district heating installations. The 60 mm long aluminum sensing element ensures a fast response time to temperature changes and accurate measurement even under intense thermal fluctuations occurring during the startup of heating systems. The brass sensor guard is detachable and screw-mounted, facilitating maintenance and replacement of consumable components without the need to disassemble the entire device.
Operating Parameters and Measurement Accuracy
The thermometer offers a wide measurement range of 0°C to 120°C, covering most typical operating temperatures of district heating systems—from return water temperatures up to the operating parameters of high-temperature boilers. Accuracy class 2.0 according to DIN EN 13190 ensures precise measurements essential for proper control of heating processes and monitoring of the energy efficiency of installations.
The standard process connection G1/2B enables easy installation using standard threaded components available on the industrial market. The black plastic pointer and polystyrene (PS) glass ensure good readability regardless of lighting conditions in boiler rooms or technical rooms.
Model A43 can be used both in the design of new district heating systems and in the modernization of existing installations—its technical parameters allow for monitoring of operating parameters regardless of the scale of the investment or the complexity of the heating system.
