Performance and application

Wilo-Helix V 406 offers a maximum flow rate of 6.5 m³/h and a maximum head of 47.1 m. This makes it ideal for irrigation systems, car washes, water treatment, fire fighting systems, and boosting pressure in water supply installations. The ability to pump water with solids up to 10 mm in diameter expands its range of applications. The pump also performs well with circulating hot and chilled water.

Construction and materials

The pump housing is made of stainless steel 304 (1.4301), and the impeller is made of stainless steel 304 (1.4307). This combination of materials guarantees corrosion resistance and ensures long-term reliability even in harsh working conditions. The pump has BSPP-G (ISO 228-1) threaded connections on both the inlet and outlet sides with a diameter of 1 inch (25 mm). The flange connection pressure class is PN 16. The 0.75 kW motor meets energy efficiency class IE3, resulting in lower operating costs. The IP55 protection class provides protection against dust and water jets.
