Mixing and pumping group for constant temperature heating

This pumping group with a thermostatic mixer is a compact solution for building constant temperature heating circuits. It is designed to work with various heat sources and provides precise temperature control in the installation. Model SMTC2, with a 125 mm spacing and a DN 25 (1 inch) diameter, features a mixer temperature adjustment range of 35 to 60°C, making it an ideal choice for systems requiring a higher supply temperature.

Design and application

The group consists of several key elements, ensuring reliable operation and easy installation:

• 3-way thermostatic mixing valve MIX THERM: is responsible for precisely mixing the supply water, allowing you to set the desired temperature in the heating circuit. The valve characteristic (kvs 3.4) provides adequate flow for installations with a power of up to 19.8 kW (at a temperature of 20°C).
• Two ball valves with thermometers: allow you to monitor the supply and return water temperatures, and also protect the installation against backflow thanks to the built-in check valve with manual lock.
• Steel spacer connector: provides structural stability and facilitates the installation of the group in the installation.
• EPP insulation: minimizes heat loss and increases the energy efficiency of the system. The insulation is made of black EPP foam with a density of 60 g/l.
• Connections: the installation side has an internal thread GW 1”, and the boiler side has an external thread GZ 1 ½”.

The SMTC2 group is particularly recommended for applications where a constant supply water temperature is required, e.g. in underfloor heating systems, wall heating or installations cooperating with low-temperature heat sources.
