Increasing the range of the Exta Free system

The external antenna ANT-01 is a practical solution for installers and users of the Exta Free system who want to improve the quality and range of wireless communication. Designed for mounting on the outside of electrical distribution boards, it allows for effective output of the radio signal, especially in the case of metal housings, which can attenuate radio waves. This ensures stable operation of modular devices in the system, such as RNM-10, ROM-01, ROM-10 and RXM-01.

Installation and application

The antenna is extremely easy and convenient to install. Equipped with a strong magnet built into the base, the antenna allows for quick and secure attachment to metal surfaces without the need for drilling or using additional tools. Alternatively, it can be mounted using double-sided tape. The length of the connection cable is 3 meters, which provides a great freedom in choosing the optimal mounting location. The antenna has an SMA connector, ensuring a secure and reliable connection to Exta Free system devices.

Design and parameters

The antenna has been designed with durability and resistance to atmospheric conditions in mind. The housing has a protection degree of IP20, which protects it from accidental contact and limits the influence of moisture. Protection class II guarantees additional safety of use. Compact dimensions (Ø 30.8 x 71.8 mm) and low weight (approximately 43g) facilitate installation and minimize the load on the distribution board structure. The antenna operates in the 868 MHz band and is compliant with PN-ETSI EN 300 220-1 and PN-ETSI EN 300 220-2 standards. The operating temperature is in the range of -10°C to +55°C.
