The ComfoTube Flat 51 flat duct is a semi-rigid ventilation duct with dimensions 51×138 mm, specifically designed for residential applications requiring discreet installation in limited spaces. Made from high-quality food-grade polyethylene (HDPE), it ensures system longevity exceeding 100 years of service.

Construction and Materials

The duct features a double-wall construction with a smooth inner surface called Clinside, which minimizes the accumulation of contaminants and dust while guaranteeing 100% system cleanliness. The HDPE material provides exceptional corrosion resistance and structural stability greater than 7.8 kN/m².

Flexibility in both horizontal and vertical directions enables comfortable installation without additional components such as elbows for changing airflow direction. A wall thickness of 0.5 mm, combined with high mechanical strength, allows for the creation of complex installation routes.

Operating Parameters and User Benefits

The system operates within a temperature range of -25°C to +60°C, maintaining full functionality under extreme environmental conditions. The maximum recommended airflow is 13 l/s (47 m³/h) with a minimum bending radius of 153 mm or 414 mm, depending on the configuration.

The low profile (only 51 mm in height) is ideal for small ceiling cavities as well as installations in floors, walls, or ceilings. A weight of approximately 0.47 kg per running meter significantly facilitates transportation and installation.

Installation and System Compatibility

Installation is performed using a butt-joint method without sealants or tapes, eliminating leakage issues during operation. The modular system enables quick connections using locking elements and oval EPDM gaskets.

Full compatibility includes a wide range of accessories: CK300 distributors for 4 or 6 ports, vertical/horizontal 90° and 45° elbows, Y-cross elements, transitions to round ducts Ø75/90/125/160 mm, and grille housings for various diffuser types.
