The ComfoTube Flex DN 75 round duct is a high-quality component of a mechanical ventilation system with controlled supply and exhaust (VMC). It is made of durable polyethylene with a dual-layer structure - the outer HDPE layer provides resistance to mechanical damage, while the inner LDPE layer guarantees surface smoothness for optimal airflow.

Construction and technical parameters

The flexible design of the duct with a nominal diameter of 75 mm allows for easy installation routing in limited spaces while maintaining high aerodynamic efficiency. The outer diameter is 75 mm, and the inner diameter is 63 mm, ensuring an optimal ratio of cross-section to pressure losses.

The duct material is high-quality polyethylene meeting standards for plastics approved for food contact (food-grade plastic). The ring stiffness reaches ~12.0 kN/m², which allows for safe embedding in concrete without the risk of deformation during the setting of the concrete mixture.

Operating parameters include a temperature range from -25°C to +60°C, a minimum bending radius of 75 mm (1x diameter), and a maximum recommended airflow of 8.3 l/s (30 m³/h). The duct weighs only 0.31 kg/m, which significantly facilitates transport and installation.

Application and operational advantages

Smooth internal walls (Clinside) minimize flow resistance and facilitate cleanliness - the absence of internal corrugation eliminates places where dust and contaminants can accumulate.

High connection tightness is achieved thanks to an O-ring seal system and locking elements (locking slides), which prevent accidental disconnection during the first stage of construction. The system does not require the use of additional sealants or insulating tapes.

The flexible design allows for installation routing in suspended ceilings and directly within the concrete structure of the building. The duct can be laid on the floor or ceiling before pouring concrete, which simplifies the construction process and eliminates the need for later installation modifications.

The product has full accreditation and is listed in the PCDB (Product Characteristics Database), confirming its compliance with technical requirements for ventilation systems. It has obtained a hygienic certificate from the National Hygiene Institute and the prestigious SKZ certification - the German institute for certifying construction products.

Class E fire reaction according to the EN 13501-1 standard ensures the fire safety of the installation, and halogen-free materials meet the ecological requirements of modern construction. The system is also accredited for use in the SAP Appendix Q program, confirming its high energy and aerodynamic parameters.
