The ComfoTube Flex DN 90 round duct is a high-class semi-rigid ventilation duct with a diameter of 90 mm, available in a practical roll length of 50 meters. Made from high-quality polyethylene (HDPE), it is an ideal solution for air distribution in modern ventilation installations.

Durable construction and materials

The duct features a two-layer construction with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as the outer layer and low-density polyethylene (LDPE) as the inner layer. This design ensures compressive strength of ~10 kN/m², allowing safe embedding within the building's concrete structure.

The smooth inner surface (Clinside) significantly reduces dust accumulation and facilitates system cleaning, as confirmed by the Hygiene Institute certificate. The material is corrosion-resistant and meets the gas-tightness requirements of the DIN EN 60529 standard.

Operating parameters and conditions

The system operates within a wide temperature range from -25°C to +40°C (some sources indicate up to +60°C), ensuring a maximum air flow capacity of 13.8 l/s for a 50-meter duct length. The minimum bending radius is 90 mm, enabling flexible installation even in confined spaces.

The duct weighs only 0.43 kg per meter, significantly simplifying installation and reducing structural load on the building. According to EN 13501-1, the fire resistance class is E, and the buoyancy force in concrete is 130 N/m.
