Balancing valve DN100 FIG.447 447A100C72

Balancing valve DN100 is an element used for precise flow regulation in heating, cooling and air conditioning systems. Model FIG.447 from Zetkama, made of GG25 cast iron, is characterized by high durability and corrosion resistance. Designed to work with various media – glycol, industrial water, compressed air – it will be suitable for both new installations and modernization of existing systems.

This valve is equipped with a handwheel, allowing for manual flow adjustment. Access to measuring points allows for accurate monitoring of installation parameters. The valve design allows operation in pairs with another valve, increasing system flexibility. The use of EPDM seals ensures tightness and reliable operation.

Construction and materials:

  • The body made of gray cast iron (EN-GJL-250 / GG25) guarantees strength and pressure resistance.
  • The mushroom made of structural composite material provides precise flow regulation and long service life.
  • EPDM seals ensure tightness and resistance to various media.
  • The valve has flanges drilled according to EN 1092-2 and ASME B16.1 class 125 standards, which facilitates installation and integration with existing infrastructure.
  • The installation length complies with EN 558 series 1 standard, ensuring compatibility with other installation elements.

Application and functionality:

Zetkama FIG.447 balancing valve is used in:

  • Central heating systems – balancing flows in individual heating circuits.
  • Cooling installations – regulating the flow of refrigerant.
  • Air conditioning systems – precise control of air or chilled water flow.
  • Industrial installations – controlling the flow of various process media (industrial water, glycol).

The high degree of tightness (class A according to EN 12266-1) minimizes the risk of leaks and ensures safe operation of the installation. The possibility of connecting manometers allows for continuous monitoring of the pressure drop across the valve, which facilitates system optimization. The valve is designed to operate at a maximum medium temperature of 120°C and a working pressure of 16 bar.
