The float valve DN40, type 272, is designed for regulating liquid level in cold and hot water systems, as well as in systems using neutral media. It performs reliably in industrial processes, fire protection systems, and district heating applications. The construction features a stem and float body made of stainless steel, with an EPDM conical float end, ensuring long-term, trouble-free operation.

Construction and Materials – Key to Durability

The valve features a robust design. The body is manufactured from gray cast iron (EN-GJL-250), guaranteeing resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. Critical components—the stem and float—are made of stainless steel (X20Cr13 / 1.4021), providing resistance to aggressive media and extended service life. The EPDM float seal ensures tightness and minimizes leakage risk. Flanges are machined in accordance with EN 1092-2, facilitating easy installation into existing systems. The valve’s face-to-face dimension complies with EN 558-1 Series 1.

Maintenance-Free Operation and High Tightness

The float valve FIG.272 offers a high level of tightness—Class A per EN 12266-1—ensuring minimal fluid loss and reliable performance under critical conditions. The device requires no maintenance, reducing operational costs. Additionally, it is environmentally safe. The maximum operating pressure is 10 bar, with a nominal pressure rating of PN 10 bar, making it suitable for most standard water systems.
