Gate Valve – Reliable Flow Isolation in Demanding Installations
This cast iron gate valve, model ZGLO Fig. 215, with nominal diameter DN100 and pressure class PN16, offers a robust solution for precise flow isolation across a wide range of applications. Manufactured from high-quality gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, it ensures durability and excellent corrosion resistance. The design features a detachable stem-to-bonnet connection (threaded), with critical components—stem, disc (grzyb), and body ring (kadłuba)—made from stainless steel, guaranteeing long-term, trouble-free operation. The PTFE disc (grzyb) seal further enhances valve tightness.
This valve is ideal for use in hot and cold water systems, steam applications, as well as industrial, district heating, and power generation systems. It is suitable for media including water, steam, compressed air, oil, glycol, and glycerin. Complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and carries CE marking for DN 32. Designed for operation at temperatures up to +300°C.
Construction and Materials – The Key to Reliability
The valve achieves a high level of tightness (Class A per EN 12266-1), verified by testing in accordance with EN 12266-1. Flanges are machined to EN 1092-2 standard for body material group A, and face-to-face dimensions conform to Series 1 per EN 558-1. The threaded stem-to-disc (grzyb) connection simplifies maintenance and replacement of sealing components. Flow direction is designed to pass under the disc (grzyb), ensuring optimal valve performance.
The valve is compatible with leading engineering software: Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5—technical data for this product is integrated into these programs, facilitating design and selection of the appropriate solution.
