Gate Valve – Reliable Flow Isolation

This cast iron gate valve with a movable disc is a robust solution for water, steam, and industrial systems. Manufactured from high-quality gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, it ensures durability and excellent corrosion resistance. The gate design, featuring a loose disc with an integrated spring, guarantees effective flow shut-off and prevents backflow of the medium. Internal components — stem, disc, and body ring — are made of bronze, enhancing wear resistance and ensuring long-term sealing performance.

The valve is designed for operation in hot and cold water systems, cooling circuits, steam networks, and demanding industrial and district heating applications. It complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and carries CE marking for diameters from DN 32. Thanks to its high leakage class (A per EN 12266-1), it minimizes leakage risks and ensures safe system operation.

This valve is compatible with popular calculation software such as Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5, simplifying system design and component selection.

The valve is rated for a maximum working pressure of 16 bar and a maximum temperature of 120°C (at higher temperatures, the allowable range is reduced — refer to manufacturer’s specifications). Flanges are machined according to EN 1092-2 for body material group A, and face-to-face dimensions comply with Series 1 per EN 558-1, ensuring easy installation and integration into existing infrastructure. The handwheel enables manual operation, and the design allows for straightforward maintenance and replacement of internal components when needed.
