Shut-off valve GLO Fig. 215 DN40 PN16, gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, construction: 41, shut-off and check type, loose mushroom without spring, stem, mushroom and body ring – stainless steel 215A040C41

The ZGLO Fig. 215 valve is a reliable solution for precise flow isolation in diverse installations. Manufactured from high-quality gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, this valve with nominal diameter DN40 and pressure class PN16 ensures durability and corrosion resistance. Its check-shut-off design, featuring a spring-free floating disc, guarantees effective protection against medium backflow.

This valve is suitable for hot and cold water, cooling systems, steam lines, industrial processes, district heating, and power generation applications. Compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and CE marking (for DN 32) confirms adherence to stringent safety standards. Importantly, the valve’s technical data is integrated into leading calculation software libraries such as Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, and Audytor H2O 1.5, facilitating system design and component selection.

Particular attention is paid to components in contact with the medium—the stem, disc, and body ring—are made of stainless steel, further enhancing corrosion resistance and ensuring long-term reliability. The valve design has been tested and complies with EN 12266-1, guaranteeing high tightness (Class A). Flanges are machined according to EN 1092-2 for body material group A, and the length of installation conforms to EN 558-1 Series 1.

  • Versatility: Suitable for use with water (hot and cold), liquids, and steam.
  • Durability: Constructed from gray cast iron EN-GJL-250 and stainless steel, ensuring long-term operation even under demanding conditions.
  • Safety: Compliance with Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and CE marking confirms safe operation.
  • Compatibility: Technical data available in popular calculation software simplifies system design.
  • High Tightness: Class A tightness per EN 12266-1 minimizes leakage risk.

The valve features a permanently fixed connection between the stem and disc—pressed—ensuring operational stability and minimizing the risk of component loosening during service. Flow direction is designed to pass under the disc, providing optimal flow characteristics.
