Shut-off valve GLO Fig. 215 DN300 PN16, gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, construction: 04, stem-to-bonnet connection - detachable, stem, load-relieving mushroom, and body ring in stainless steel 215A300C04
Valve designed for demanding installations
This shut-off valve ZGLO Fig. 215 is a robust solution for precise flow isolation in various systems. Manufactured from gray cast iron EN-GJL-250, it ensures durability and reliability even under harsh operating conditions. Designed for use with media such as water, steam, compressed air, oil, glycol, or glycerin.
The valve features a detachable screw connection between the stem and the mushroom, facilitating service and replacement of internal components. A key element is the use of stainless steel for the stem, mushroom, and body ring—guaranteeing corrosion resistance and long service life. Additionally, the unloaded mushroom minimizes mechanical loads, enhancing operational smoothness and extending seal durability.
Design and application
The valve has a flanged connection (DN300) and a nominal pressure rating of PN16, making it compatible with existing installations conforming to EN 1092-2. It is a universal component suitable for heating, power, and industrial process systems. Its ability to operate in hot water, cold water, cooling water, and steam systems makes this valve exceptionally versatile.
The valve complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and carries the CE marking for DN 32, confirming safety and quality. It meets the requirements of EN 12266-1 for tightness (Class A) and has undergone all required testing and certification.
Additional information for professionals
Technical data for this valve is available in the libraries of calculation software (Instal-therm, Instal-san, Audytor C.O. 3.8, Audytor H2O 1.5), significantly simplifying design and selection for specific project requirements. Note the flow direction—marked above the mushroom—to ensure optimal valve performance. Alternative versions are available with different body materials (ductile iron, bronze, carbon steel, or stainless steel) and additional features (combined shut-off/check function, regulating mushroom, or opening indicator), allowing customization to specific system needs. Maximum operating temperature: +300°C.
