Gas wall boilers CGB (single-function), CGB-K (double-function) from Wolf GmbH can perfectly use the energy contained in the fuel. They use an advanced condensing technique, which allows for thermal efficiency of up to 110%. Condensing technology enables such high efficiency to be achieved by using the heat of water vapor contained in the exhaust gases. By lowering the exhaust gas temperature below the dew point temperature, we obtain a significant amount of additional heat above 95%, and the amount of this gain can reach up to 15%, as is the case in CGB and CGB-K boilers. As a result, CGB, CGB-K condensing boilers from Wolf GmbH are much more economical and more efficient (110%) compared to conventional boilers, while reducing pollutant emissions. ALU-Pro technology allows maximum heat recovery

In order to properly use the condensing technique and maximally recover the heat from gas combustion along with the latent heat of water vapor contained in the exhaust gases, it is necessary to use an appropriate heat exchanger. Therefore, CGB and CGB-K boilers are equipped with an aluminum-silicon alloy exchanger, which has unique heat transfer properties and is characterized by high resistance to the corrosive effects of condensate formed in the boiler. Additionally, it uses ALU-Pro technology and is covered with a polymer layer that increases combustion efficiency and cleanliness of the combustion chamber.

Maintenance and service work can be carried out at the front of the boiler

Condensing gas units

Wolf combines condensing gas boilers with efficient stratified hot water tanks. The offered solutions of the units in the standing version - CGS and hanging version - CGW create compact boiler rooms that take up little space. An inherent element of condensing units, ensuring great convenience of using hot tap water, is a layered hot water tank. The patented Turbo-Stop system for distributing hot and cold water streams is designed to muffle the stream, causing radial water distribution.

This ensures a layered flow of water in the tank and uniform loading and consumption. As a result, the domestic hot water capacity reaches up to 25 l/min, which means the availability of up to 216 liters in the first 10 minutes, and even up to 681 liters within an hour! With a volume of 90 liters, the parameters of the tank are comparable to those of traditional heaters with a capacity of up to 200 liters. If the tank is empty, the unit provides a flow heating function through a stainless steel plate exchanger - hot water is available in all conditions. It is also important that the tank is equipped with very effective insulation, guaranteeing minimal heat losses of even less than 0.9 kWh per day.

Cooperation of the boiler with the solar heating system

Wolf condensing devices work very well with solar heating systems. Additionally, Wolf offers CSZ solar condensing gas units with an integrated, bivalent hot water tank, creating compact heating devices using energy from renewable sources. The solar hot water tank with a capacity of 310 liters, integrated with the boiler, is equipped with 2 heat exchangers with a large surface, ensuring short heating time and high continuous power.

An intelligent tank loading system helps to achieve perfect parameters, which, in combination with boiler regulation, allows, for example, automatic blocking of the boiler to maximize the use of solar energy. The intelligent BM weather control, which is standard equipment, ensures efficient use of energy. To minimize electricity consumption, modulated energy class A circulation pumps are also used in the heating and solar circuits.
