Condensing technology allows for such high efficiency by using the heat of water vapor contained in the exhaust gases. By lowering the exhaust gas temperature below the dew point, we obtain a significant amount of additional heat above the value of 95%, and the size of this yield can reach up to 15%, as is the case with CGB and CGB-K boilers. In order to properly use the condensing technique and to recover heat from gas combustion to the maximum, together with the latent heat of water vapor contained in the exhaust gases, it is necessary to use an appropriate heat exchanger. Therefore, CGB, CGB-K boilers are equipped with an aluminum-silicon alloy exchanger, which has unique heat transfer properties and is characterized by high resistance to the corrosive effects of condensate formed in the boiler. Additionally, ALU-Pro technology was used in it and it was covered with a polymer layer that increases combustion efficiency and the cleanliness of the combustion chamber.

Condensing gas centrals
Wolf combines condensing gas boilers with efficient layered domestic hot water tanks. The offered solutions of units in the standing version - CGS and hanging - CGW create compact boiler rooms that take up little space. An inseparable element of condensing units, providing great convenience of using domestic hot water is the layered domestic hot water tank. The patented Turbo-Stop system of distributing hot and cold water streams is designed to muffle the stream, causing radial distribution of water.
This ensures a layered water flow in the tank and its even loading and collection. As a result, the domestic hot water efficiency reaches up to 25 l/min., which means availability in the first 10 minutes of up to 216 liters, and within an hour even up to 681 liters! With a capacity of 90 liters, the tank parameters are comparable to traditional heaters with a capacity of up to 200 liters. In the event of the tank being empty, the unit provides, through a stainless steel plate exchanger, a flow heating function - hot water is therefore available in all conditions. It is not without significance that the tank is equipped with very effective insulation, guaranteeing minimal heat losses of even less than 0.9 kWh per day.
Cooperation of the boiler with the solar heating system
Wolf brand condensing devices work very well with solar heating systems. Additionally, Wolf offers CSZ solar condensing gas units with integrated, bivalent DHW tanks, creating compact heating devices using energy from renewable sources. The 310-litre solar DHW tank integrated with the boiler is equipped with 2 large-surface heat exchangers, ensuring short heating times and high continuous power.
The intelligent tank loading system helps to achieve excellent parameters, which, in combination with the boiler control, allows, for example, for automatic blocking of the boiler in order to maximize the use of solar energy. The intelligent BM weather control, which is standard equipment, watches over the economical use of energy. In order to minimize the consumption of electricity, modulated circulation pumps of energy class A were also used in the heating and solar circuits.
