EasyPact CVS - reliable molded case circuit breakers
The EasyPact CVS range includes economical and reliable moulded case circuit breakers, the main purpose of which is to protect installations, motors and generators against the effects of overloads and short circuits for various environments, both in residential and industrial areas.
- The range includes 3 or 4-pole solutions for a wide current range from several to 630A.
- The circuit breakers feature a high rated short-circuit capacity (Icu) of 25kA or 36kA for solutions up to and including 250A and 36kA to 50kA for solutions up to 630A.
- The main division of EasyPact CVS circuit breakers is based on the type of current protection, where a variant with a thermomagnetic TM-D release (simple, reliable, less precise protection, sensitive to temperature changes) and an electronic ETS (precise, for applications requiring precise regulation) is possible.
- EasyPact CVS circuit breakers enable precise adjustment of the time-current characteristic, in the case of TM-D: from 0.7 to 1 times the rated current, in the case of ETS: from 0.4 to 1 times the rated current. Appropriate adjustment ensures selective operation of the protections - they switch off only those circuits in which the overload occurred, without disturbing the operation of the others.
The EasyPact CVS offer allows for manual and automatic control based on motor drives or releases, and as accessories it also allows for signaling of protection states via auxiliary contacts. Easy TeSys
Choosing the right solutions for motor protection and control is key to their reliable operation. The Easy TeSys series from Schneider Electric is the ideal solution for simple applications that allows for cost optimization while maintaining high quality.
The series can be divided into 3 main product categories:
- Easy TeSys Power motor circuit-breakers for basic short-circuit and overload protection.
- Easy TeSys Control contactors for reliable control of motors (AC-3) and other loads (AC-1).
- Easy TeSys Protect thermal relays for protecting the motor against overloads, phase failure or too long starting.
Easy TeSys Power solutions provide complete motor protection with thermal-magnetic protection. The magnetic (short-circuit) protection has a non-adjustable cut-off threshold, which is approximately 13 times the maximum current setting of the thermal protection. The thermal (overload) protection automatically compensates for ambient temperature fluctuations. Tesys Power motor circuit breakers are available in one size of device From 0.1 to 32 A or for power from 0.37 to 15kW below 400V. The breaking capacity for Tesys Power is up to 100kA.
Easy TeSys Control contactors are ideal for applications where safety certificates are not required. Thanks to the auxiliary contact (NC or NO as standard), the operating signal can be output to an external device, e.g. a signal lamp. Auxiliary contacts can be expanded using dedicated front blocks. Contactors are available in 3-pole versions for the AC-3 category with a rated current from 6A to 630A, for controlling motors from 2.2kW to 335kW with an AC voltage signal, to choose from in the range of 24 - 440V or 24V DC. The offer also includes 4-pole contactors for the AC-1 category with a current range from 16 to 125A, configuration of main contacts 4NO or 2NO + 2NC and control with an AC voltage signal in the range of 24 - 415V.
Easy TeSys Protect is a range of thermal relays for motor overload protection. They can be used independently or directly in combination with Easy TeSys Control contactors. They are designed to protect circuits against overloads, phase failure, excessive starting and rotor stalling. The relays are available in class 10A in a range of 0.1 to 630A, with manual or automatic reset and trip indicator.
Easy Altivar - frequency converters
The ATV310 and ATV610 frequency converters from the Easy Altivar series are extremely efficient and easy-to-use devices that allow precise control of the rotational speed of electric motors. With these inverters, you will optimize the operation of your machines, reduce energy consumption, and thus extend their service life.
The ATV310 solutions are specially optimized for use with industrial machines. They are available for loads from 0.37 to 22 kW in heavy duty or 30 kW in light duty. The inverters have been designed in accordance with the Plug & Play concept. They have integrated Modbus communication and clear marking of the power terminals and connection labels, a clear electrical diagram and a user-friendly interface for quick installation and operation of the inverter. The ATV310 solutions are adapted to work in difficult conditions, maintaining full operating parameters in an environment up to 55°C.
The Easy Altivar ATV610 series is specially adapted to pump and fan applications. Variants are available with loads ranging from 0.75 to 132 kW for heavy duty or 160 kW for light duty. The ATV610 drives are equipped with an integrated, optimized EMC filter and DC choke, protecting against interference and harmonics. They also have built-in Modbus communication and the possibility of adding a Profibus DP communication option. As part of the drive installation, 7 pre-programmed function blocks are available covering 90% of pump and fan applications! The devices are adapted to harsh operating conditions thanks to an innovative ventilation system separated from the printed circuit board, preventing dust and oil corrosion, have an IP40 degree of protection on the surface and coated electronic cards and rails, and their operating temperature ranges from -10 to 60 °C.
Easy Harmony HMI - operator panels
