This three-pole K60N-C10-3 overcurrent circuit breaker is a key element of every safe electrical installation. Functionality and application

The K60N-C10-3 circuit breaker is used to protect lighting circuits, socket outlets and other electrical devices. The C characteristic provides a delayed tripping response to short-term overloads, which is particularly important for devices with motors or other elements generating high inrush current – this avoids unnecessary tripping of the circuit. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA (at 230V and 400V) guarantees effective protection in the event of a serious failure.

Construction and mounting

The circuit breaker has a width of 3 modules, which facilitates its installation in standard distribution boards. Access to the terminals from below allows connection of both busbars and wires. Serrated terminals ensure a secure electrical connection, minimizing the risk of loosening of the wires during operation. The tripping indicator guarantees quick and reliable switching, regardless of the speed of operation of the circuit breaker lever. The cross-section of solid wires accepted by the circuit breaker is 0.5 - 35 mm², and stranded wires 0.5 - 25 mm². The circuit breaker operates in a temperature range from -25°C to 70°C, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against accidental contact.
