HepvO is a unique, self-sealing drain valve with a compact design. It prevents odors from escaping from sewage systems and actively maintains pressure balance in sewage systems.
A hygienic alternative to a pipe siphon
As a dry (waterless) drain valve, the HepvO uses a specially designed membrane to create an airtight seal between the living space and the sewage system. The self-sealing valve opens under the pressure of flowing sewage and closes tightly when the flow stops under normal atmospheric conditions.

Application of the self-cleaning Hepv0 siphon
HepvO can be used as an alternative to water siphons:
- for discharging sewage from all types of devices discharging gray sewage, including standard household chemicals,
- for draining condensate from air conditioning units or condensing boilers,
- for discharging wastewater from irregularly used utensils in hot climates,
- for discharging wastewater from utensils in vehicles such as campers, trailers, boats or trains.
HepvO in vehicles, camping houses
The compact design of HepvO is not the only advantage of the waterless siphon, enabling installation in limited space. Because HepvO is a self-sealing drain valve, it works well in RVs and other moving vehicles – such as boats and caravans – where siphons can lose their seal due to movement and vibration. This also helps to avoid unpleasant odors resulting from, for example, water evaporating from the siphon on warm days. HepvO is also perfect for facilities that are unused for a certain period of time, e.g. holiday homes, guesthouses or hotels that operate seasonally. If the device is not used for a long time, the evaporation of water in a traditional siphon will lead to the loss of the water seal and, consequently, the appearance of unpleasant odors in the rooms.

Advantages of a waterless siphon
Air valves are not required
HepvO actively eliminates negative pressure in the sewage system by opening and admitting fresh air until it reaches equilibrium with the atmosphere. The device then closes to re-seal the sewage system and prevent the release of odors. This means that bleeding the sewage system by using an air valve is no longer necessary. Using the valve as an air inlet fitting reduces costs because it eliminates the need to install traditional riser ventilation or an air intake valve under certain conditions; simplifies system design, saving space.
No susceptibility to self-siphoning
It allows you to place more sanitary utensils in one approach, without worrying about the phenomenon of suction and loss of efficiency of the sewage system.
Quiet operation
The valves operate quietly and there is no "bubbling" typical of water siphons.
