Electronic doorbells are the most advanced devices. In addition to the volume control function, which also occurs in other types of buttons, they also have the function of different sounds and melodies to choose from.
In addition, electronic doorbell buttons operate over longer distances, and some are adapted to create networks of buttons synchronized with receivers. Such networks are created in large multi-family houses with several entrances and industrial facilities. In addition to this division, individual devices can be equipped with hermetic protections that protect against getting wet from rain. Internal buttons should not be mounted outside the building. Moisture and temperature changes cause signal interference, and pressing can cause electric shock.
In summary, the choice of an outdoor doorbell button depends on the type of building, its surface and the effect we want to achieve. The adaptation of the button to changing weather conditions is of great importance. It is also good for it to have backlighting and a volume control function. The latter functionality is useful when there are small children or people with hearing impairments in the house. In addition, it happens that too quiet a sound is disturbed by the noise of the television, and in factories by working devices.
How to connect a doorbell button?
The method of installation and fastening of the button depends on the type of doorbell. Wired doorbells are best installed before the external facade and finishing of the building are laid out, so that the cable can be easily hidden. Perform all operations, paying attention to the normally open contact, visible in the diagram in the attached instructions.
