Electrofusion fittings, for example electrofusion elbows, are a kind of connectors that are used to connect pipes in various transmission systems, for example gas or water installations. Just like PE pipes, fittings are also made of the same material - PE, i.e. polyethylene. It has excellent properties, being resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. PE electrofusion fittings include mainly PE elbows, PE joints and PE tees. How to properly weld PE pipes? Electrofusion welding
Electrofusion welding is a method of joining polyethylene pipes using special fittings with built-in heating elements. We will now learn how to properly weld pipes using this method.

It is very important that the pipes are cut in the right way - at a right angle, and cleaned with a scraper. - Then we remove the oxidized polyethylene layer at the welding point. We need to measure to make sure it is the correct length.
