In new buildings and renovations, more and more investors are looking for an energy-saving hot water supply system. Special instantaneous e-water heaters for bathrooms , washbasins and kitchens heat water directly where it is needed. Space heating is separated from the hot water supply.
Thanks to constant technological progress in modern construction, the energy demand for space heating is constantly decreasing. At the same time, requirements for the energy balance of new buildings are becoming more and more stringent. Therefore, more and more attention is paid to energy-saving domestic hot water supply.
Central or decentralized hot water supply
Water is often heated to a high temperature of around 65 degrees in a central tank and fed to appropriate draw-off points. This process heats more water than is actually needed. The water temperature is lowered to the correct temperature at the point of consumption. In the case of long pipelines, it usually takes some time before hot water finally flows from the tap.
Energy losses in a central hot water preparation system consist of losses resulting from circulation, distribution, start-up and storage of water. In a single-family house, these losses amount to at least 40% of the total energy demand. In addition, there are higher investment costs compared to a decentralized solution.
In decentralized systems, hot water is separated from the heating system. Instantaneous e-water heaters are installed directly at the point of water consumption. Circulation and storage losses are eliminated because water is not pre-heated and stored in large quantities. Distribution, start-up and system losses amount to only 3% of energy demand, which means that hot water supply using flow e-heaters is an energy-saving system with high efficiency.

For every application (kitchen, bathroom or washbasin) there is a suitable device that optimally meets the requirements at the point of use, because our expectations are different at each point of use:
Washbasin : washing our hands takes us less than 10 seconds! With such a short time of use, it is necessary to immediately obtain the right temperature around 35°C. This process should be efficient, effective and enjoyable. For this purpose, small CLAGE e-heaters are sufficient, giving a flow of around 2l/minute. We have a wide selection of devices controlled hydraulically (MBH, P-MPH, M) or electronically (MCX), with a pressure or non-pressure design, complete with or without a battery. Low connection powers allow for safe and low-cost operation.
The highest-class device among small e-heaters, the MCX model convinces with the best functionality and refined design. This well-designed small device discreetly blends into any washbasin installation. Power consumption is automatically regulated by the electronic system, which ensures the ideal water temperature and no need to add cold water. The convenient control panel allows you to select the temperature at 35°C, 38°C or a maximum of 45°C.
Kitchen: if the dishwasher cannot handle a pot or frying pan, then we have to use warm water in the sink. Here, however, we expect higher temperatures: 48° at a flow of approximately 5 l/min. With compact e-heaters you can get the right temperature at the touch of a button. Small dimensions allow you to save valuable space under the sink, and ease of installation is an additional advantage. In the series of devices with connection capacities between 11 and 13.5 kW, we can choose from models controlled exclusively electronically. They are designed to work with any battery.

Shower and bathroom: the average shower takes 3-5 minutes, although the process seems much longer. The expected temperatures are 38-42°C with a higher water flow of between 8 and 10 l/min.
