Roth Thermotank Quadroline is the world's first innovative pressure tank made of thermally stable plastic and high-strength glass fiber with integrated anti-diffusion protection in the form of an aluminum layer. The material from which the Roth Thermotank Quadroline tank is made eliminates the phenomenon of corrosion, so there is no need to use a magnesium anode. The tank is extremely light, weighing only about 1/3 of a comparable steel tank, which significantly simplifies transport and installation. 3 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 90 °C.
Versatile use of Roth Thermotank Quadroline pressure tanks
Due to their design, the Roth Thermotank Quadroline can be used flexibly as single storage tanks or in combinations. The tank programme includes buffer, split, solar and service water tanks. Thermotank Quadroline tanks enable operation with all types of heat sources: primarily with heat pumps, but also with gas, oil and solid fuel boilers, gas or electric heaters. It is also possible to combine several buffer tanks with each other in a battery, depending on individual requirements. TQ tanks are available in the following sizes: 325 l, 400 l, 500 l and 850 l.

The compact shape of the Roth Thermotank Quadroline tanks
The shape of the Quadroline tank does not differ from the shape of traditional steel tanks and is cylindrical, however the EPS insulation layer closes the structure in the outline of a quadrangle. Thanks to this construction of the Roth Thermotank Quadroline, every square centimeter of the surface is optimally used. Each 325, 500 and 850 l tank is the same height - 196.5 cm - which allows easy and aesthetic connection of tanks into one system.

New on the market - Roth Thermotank Quadroline 400 l
In order to meet the requirements of modernization in construction, we have introduced the Thermotank Quadroline tank with a capacity of 400 l. The tank is lower than the others, it is exactly 164 cm, therefore it can also be used in lower rooms, such as a basement. The tank is available as a central heating buffer - TQ-P, a buffer with a hydraulic clutch - TQ-T and a domestic hot water tank - TQ-TW.
Hygienic flow
The characteristic feature of Roth Quadroline domestic hot water tanks is their hygienic operation. Domestic hot water is located exclusively in a stainless steel coil with an area of: 5 m² for 325 and 500 l capacity; 4.7 m2 for 400 l capacity and 7.5 m² for 850 l capacity. The water in the coil for domestic purposes is heated by the water in the rest of the tank, in the amount that is necessary (no water standstills, no risk of Legionella). The maximum permissible pressure for the coil is 10 bar.
Energy labels A and B for Quadroline heat tanks
The Roth Thermotank Quadroline tank for drinking water and heating has the highest energy efficiency. Tests conducted by the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg confirm the energy label A for the Roth Thermotank Quadroline design with thermal jacket plus. The test conducted by the Fraunhofer Institute showed that only 59.3 watts of heat loss for a 500-litre tank with thermal jacket plus and therefore up to 65% less heat loss compared to standard tanks. The thermal jacket plus is available for all tank types. The standard version of the Roth Thermotank Quadroline insulation also proved to be very energy-efficient in tests and is marked with the energy label B.
The most efficient of their kind: Roth Thermotank TQ tanks
Thanks to the high energy efficiency, heat losses in TQ tanks can be reduced by ¼ compared to standard steel tanks. The energy balance of the Thermotank tank is much more favorable, because the thermal insulation properties of the tank material itself are better compared to steel. Additionally, the thermal outer jacket made of special high-strength EPS insulation allows for proper minimization of heat losses.
