What is a telescopic tube?
The telescopic pipe belongs to the category of accessories intended for plastic wells - similarly to the seal or telescopic cover. It is used to connect the corrugated riser pipe with the hatch. For this reason, it is often factory-fitted with handles (hooks) for the cover.

It consists of three layers: two outer plastic layers and a middle wall made of foamed PVC. The foamed layer makes the product lightweight, yet exceptionally durable.
Foamed pipes are used, among others, in the construction of sewage connections for single-family houses and on larger areas designated for investment. On the other hand, the solid telescopic pipe has a single-layer structure (one wall). It is used to build underground non-pressure drainage systems. It is characterized by excellent resistance to impact, vibration and mechanical damage, guaranteeing full tightness of the installation.
What to consider when choosing a telescopic cover?
The telescopic cover is another important element of the sewer well telescope. It should be made of high-quality materials, characterized by increased durability and resistance to extreme temperatures and discoloration caused by atmospheric factors. A good cover is resistant to ground settlement and effectively compensates for surface movements, especially in winter. When buying a well cover, you should pay attention to such parameters as:
- material of manufacture (you can choose from plastic, cast iron and concrete covers),
- pressure resistance (load class),
- shape (e.g. square models are easier to enclose with cubes and install directly at curbs),
- diameter (must correspond to the diameter of the well),
- method of installation.
