For several years, Arot has been closely observing the needs of its clients and looking for optimal solutions for them. It constantly tries to meet the requirements of investors by expanding its offer with modern solutions that make it unique and exceptional. Modular cable chambers are a product that is becoming more and more widely used in many projects used by investors. Arot's offer includes MODULA™ and ULTIMA™ wells belonging to the STAKKAbox™ well system.

Excavation for cable wells

STAKKAbox™ - a system of underground structural access wells for telecommunications, energy and signaling networks

STAKKAbox™ is a system of underground structural access wells for telecommunications, energy and signaling networks. These wells can also be used in other applications, e.g. as wells protecting water valves. The STAKKAbox™ concept is based on 150 mm high ring sections (modules) stacked one on top of the other to build a well of any height. Each ring has a double-walled structure with vertical reinforcing and fastening ribs between the walls and has a key enabling tight connection between subsequent sections.

MODUL wells

MATERIAL

  • polypropylene PPCP C2467 – MODULA™ wells
  • glass fiber reinforced polyester resin (GRP) – ULTIMA™ wells

SPEED OF INSTALLATION – the contractor installs the well much faster than in the case of traditional concrete wells. For a medium-sized well (900 x 900 x 900 mm), installation time is less than 30 minutes. The assembly method is very simple: the wells are composed of modules: bottom + basic modules (in the number necessary to build a well of the required depth) + cover of the appropriate class with an installation frame. The well can be assembled from elements on the construction site or it can be already assembled and delivered to the construction site. SAFETY – an additional element of installation savings is installation safety. The weight of each element (ring, module) is within the international standard of max. 25 kg/person. This means that the installation and foundation of the well on the construction site does not require the use of any heavy equipment, which saves time and labor costs. VERTICAL STRENGTH - vertical ribs and double-wall construction provide high resistance to compression caused by vehicles attacking the wells. WIDE RANGE OF SIZES – the unique design of STAKKAbox™ will provide contractors and operators with a wide range of combinations of well sizes and depths (modules with dimensions from 300x300mm to 3000x6000mm).

The number of additional modules needed depends on the required depth of the well

LONG LIFE - the materials used to produce wells are resistant to low temperatures (frost), which are the main factor destroying concrete wells. In addition to frost resistance, STAKKAbox™ is resistant to acids, alkalis, alkyls, gasoline, oils and other chemical compounds - which have a negative impact on concrete. TRANSVERSAL STRENGTH - each 150 mm module has a transverse (horizontal) rib (reinforcement) that runs around its entire circumference. Combined with the way the well is made by connecting modules using the tongue-and-groove technology, this means that the finished well has a monolithic structure, more durable than a single module itself. As a consequence, the walls of the well have high resistance to soil pressure. COVERS – in accordance with the requirements of the PN-EN 124:2000 standard. The offer includes classes: A15, B125, and D400, in a wide range of materials used - composites, cast iron, steel and steel filled (reinforced) with concrete. Class B125 covers filled with concrete are still available for sale, the cover frames are adjustable in height in the range of 0-30 mm - adjustment is made using wedges with a height of 5 or 10 mm. All other well covering solutions are available on individual orders on terms agreed with AROT POLSKA representatives. PIPES INSTALLATION - is carried out in a very simple way - on the construction site, holes are made with a hole saw or saw in the places where the pipes will be installed. The space between the hole and the pipe is filled with mortar or sealing compound. INSTALLATION ON EXISTING SEWAGE SYSTEM - an undoubted advantage of STAKKAbox™ wells is the possibility of installing them on existing infrastructure - this is done by cutting holes in the modules where the infrastructure collides with the well.

MODULA™ cable well

STAKKAbox MODULA™, like all STAKKAbox™ wells, is based on 150mm ring sections (modules), which are placed one on top of the other to build any depth of well. Additionally, for wells with dimensions other than those given in Table 1, each individual module is made of corner elements and one or more straight elements of the well wall - the FLAT PACK system. These elements are connected using special clips (connectors) inserted between them. This design allows contractors to arrange the elements of the well and freely adjust the size of the well to the dimensions resulting from the field installation conditions. manhole module Used in energy, telecommunications, road and building construction; recommended for use in areas of group 2-4 according to PN-EN 124:2000, in particular for the construction of underground infrastructure related to traffic light installations.

ULTIMA™ cable wells

ULTIMA™ are unrivaled in terms of the ratio of strength properties to the weight of the well. This is related to the material used for their production - glass fiber reinforced polyester resin (GRP), which is used in many industries, e.g. automotive, aviation, construction. This material allows designers to obtain high resistance and strength at the lowest possible weight. ULTIMA wells In addition, this material is thermoset, which means it cannot be melted and is resistant to high temperatures (flame resistant). The excellent ratio of strength properties to the weight of the well is also due to the patented double-wall structure reinforced with vertical and horizontal ribs between the walls. The vertical ribs provide a high degree of vertical compressive strength to resist loads from vehicles that may pass over the wells. While the horizontal rib running along the entire module ensures high resistance of the well walls to loads from vehicles or ground pressure. Thanks to the combination of material and patented double-walled wall construction, each module is capable of withstanding a vertical load of 60 tons and lateral pressure comparable to that provided by concrete. Used in the energy industry, telecommunications, road and building construction, and railways. ULTIMA™ are an ideal solution, especially in road and railway construction (maximum load of the well - 60 tons, which corresponds to groups 4 and 5 according to PN-EN 124:2000). This is due to the fact that the material used for their production is resistant to creep. TECHNICAL DATA:
