Underground/above-ground rainwater tank Skolimowski
Rainwater from the roof can flow into underground rainwater tanks , buried in the ground, or above-ground tanks, usually located under a wall. The former are usually larger. Putting the tank underground has a positive effect on the aesthetics, but requires greater financial outlays and is not always possible. On the other hand, an above-ground rainwater tank , if you can find a place for it somewhere out of the way, does not have to be conspicuous.
Now you don't have to decide where to place your Skolimowski rainwater tank . Made of PEHD, the barrel can initially stand right behind the house, and in the future you will be able to bury it to the ground. Tightly closed, it will also work well as a domestic sewage treatment plant or septic tank. The versatility of applications is certainly a significant advantage of this type of solution.
Underground rainwater tank Aqt Water
Made of PEHD, the container is mainly intended for unstable soils with a high level of subsurface water. It is a lightweight model that you can easily transport to the selected location. That is why it is very popular among owners of single-family houses. A special feature is the low cross-section, measuring only 90 cm. The cylindrical construction of the Aqt Water rainwater tank provides better stabilization, while the anti-rodent system protects your home from pests.
PEHD rainwater tank from Roth
A neat, green tank, reinforced with steel bands, available in two basic versions: with and without an overflow siphon. What is a siphon? This solution is known mainly from bathrooms, as an element of draining water from a sink or toilet. The tube, led in the shape of the letter "U", retains some of the water. This in turn blocks the gases generated in the sewage system, so that they do not escape back up to the bathroom. In the case of Roth rainwater tanks, this type of solution is to stop the smell and gases that form inside the container, so that on a sunny day you can't smell them throughout the yard. Roth above-ground containers can be placed in series - then only the first one requires the use of this type of siphon. The others are directly connected to each other, creating the equivalent of a large rainwater tank.
Rainwater set "Garden Comfort" by Graf
Although the rainwater tank is a key element of the entire system, additional equipment is needed to properly operate it. That is why many models are sold in sets - this is the assumption of Graf, for example. What is included in one purchase?
- The main element is still the rainwater tank with the entire superstructure.
- Internal filter, which is also an inlet calmer, i.e. a set of elements ensuring a calm flow into the interior of the tank.
- Siphon, preventing gases from escaping from the interior.
- Telescopic cover, usually green in color.
- Automatic submersible pump, equipped with a suction hose and float. Additionally, an additional filter is placed here before the pump inlet and a non-return valve.
- Hose connecting the pump and the collection point. The point itself is equipped with two quick connectors with shut-off valves.
This is a sample list accessories for Graf rainwater tanks . Depending on the type and size of the container, some elements may differ significantly.
