KAN-THERM floor heating systems

In the offer of the KAN-therm company we can find various floor heating systems, which are used in residential and general construction. The systems differ in the pipe mounting technique, type and construction of thermal insulation and purpose.

KAN-therm floor heating system

The most popular solution used for floor heating and cooling in residential construction is the KAN-therm Tacker System. Heating is performed using the wet method, in which heating pipes are attached to the insulation with plastic clips and then filled with liquid screed. After a period of setting and then heating, the final flooring, e.g. parquet or terracotta, is laid on the screed.

Lightweight, aluminum, durable construction, resistant to corrosion processes. Improved guide and special weighting element guarantee proper insertion of the clip into the device socket.

The advantage of this system is quick assembly and freedom of pipe spacing and installation options. In this system, the choice of insulation used is wide. The solution can also be recommended for facilities where floors are subject to high loads.

The KAN-therm Profil system has a similar application, in which the heating pipes are attached by pressing them between special profiled projections on the insulation.

In renovated buildings, in the case of ceilings and lightweight wooden structures with low load-bearing capacity, the KAN-therm TBS System will work best.

Unlike the first two solutions, this system is classified as dry. The heating pipes are placed in specially profiled insulation boards and are covered with dry screed boards with a thickness depending on the designed floor load. The heat from the heating pipes is evenly transferred to the dry screed boards via steel radiant lamellas placed in the board grooves.

Characteristic features of this system include: low construction height, lightweight construction, quick installation and no need to pour and maintain screed. KAN-therm Systems offer complete solutions. Insulation and fixing systems are supplemented by: pipes, cabinets, distributors and pump groups as well as automation and installation regulation elements. Three types of pipes are used in underfloor heating installations. The contractor can choose between PE-RT Bluefloor and PE-Xc polyethylene pipes and a multilayer pipe with an aluminum insert PE-RT/AL./PE-RT.

It is worth paying attention to the new product in the KAN offer, which are the InoxFlow stainless steel manifolds. The manifolds can be equipped with simple control valves or modern flow meters with valves and thermoelectric actuators. For smaller floor installations, the manufacturer offers manifold models equipped with a pump system. The wide range of KAN-therm systems and additional elements for floor heating allows the investor, designer and contractor to choose the best solution adapted to the specifics of a given investment and their own preferences.
