Universal keystone RJ45 socket – quick installation and reliability

This is a Cat6A keystone RJ45 socket designed for installation of telecommunication networks inside buildings. Its toolless design significantly speeds up the installation process, reducing the time needed to complete connections by up to 2/3 compared to traditional methods. This makes it ideal for both professional installers and people performing cabling themselves. The socket is unshielded (UTP), making it a good choice for environments with low levels of electromagnetic interference.

Installation comfort and connection durability

A key feature of this socket is toolless termination technology. This means that cable connections can be made without the use of specialized tools – just one movement is enough to terminate all eight cable conductors simultaneously on the IDC connector. This ensures even pressure on each conductor, guaranteeing a stable and reliable connection. Although the toolless system is dominant, the socket also allows traditional termination using tools, giving the installer flexibility in choosing the working method. Additionally, a built-in dust cover protects the connector from dirt and damage after the cable is disconnected.

The Q-LANTEC MKB-U6A-1 socket is compatible with U/UTP Cat6A cables and provides data transmission speeds up to 10 Gbps. It can be easily mounted in various elements of the network infrastructure – empty patch panels, wall or floor boxes. Made of high-quality flame-retardant ABS plastic (UL 94 V-0), the socket ensures safety and durability of the installation.
