Construction and shielding for stable transmission

The F/UTP (Foiled/Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable has a foil shield surrounding all four pairs of wires. Additionally, an earthing wire under the shield increases resistance to electromagnetic interference (EMI). This construction allows for safe operation in environments with a high level of interference, e.g. near electrical cables or industrial equipment. The use of stranded wires provides flexibility and makes it easier to route the cable in tight spaces.

The patch cord has a PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) coating, which is durable and flexible. Although PVC is not a LSOH flame-retardant material, it provides good insulation and mechanical protection of the cable.
