Construction and application

The patch cord is designed for cross-connect connections in distribution points and for subscriber connections – i.e. where fast and reliable data transfer is important. It uses stranded conductors, which translates to flexibility and makes it easier to route the cable in tight spaces. The cable core consists of 4 twisted pairs, separated by a separator, which minimizes the risk of interference and signal disturbances. The use of a PVC jacket provides mechanical durability and resistance to damage, although it is worth remembering its properties in the event of a fire (see "Compliance with standards" section).
