The cable is made in U/UTP technology (unshielded), which means there is no shield around the wire pairs. This solution reduces costs but requires caution during installation - the cable should be avoided laying near sources of electromagnetic interference. Multi-strand conductors with polyethylene insulation provide flexibility and facilitate installation. Four twisted pairs of wires with a separator improve transmission quality, minimizing interference. The outer PVC coating offers durability and resistance to mechanical damage, although its properties in the event of a fire should be remembered - it emits smoke and contains halogens. The cable cross-section is 4x2x24/7AWG.

The ALANTEC Cat. 6 patch cord is compatible with newer and older generation network devices, thanks to backward compatibility with lower category elements (patch panels, RJ45 keystone modules). A length of 0.5 meters makes it ideal for short connections between devices in server rooms or at user desks. The product meets the requirements of the ISO/IEC 11801 standard and is designed to operate at temperatures from -20°C to +60°C during use and from 0°C to +50°C during installation. The cable supports the PoE standard (802.3af), allowing you to power network devices through the connection cable. The black color makes it easy to identify the cable in the cabling.
