This OptiValve wedge gate valve, made of spheroidal graphite cast iron (GJS), is a solid and safe solution for shutting off gas flow in medium-pressure installations. Designed for natural gas, it meets the PN-EN 13744 standard and ensures safe operation in temperatures from -20°C to +60°C. Its construction with PE100 SDR11 welding spigots facilitates integration with existing polyethylene networks.

Construction and application

The valve is intended for use in gas networks with a nominal diameter of DN50 (equivalent to OD63) and a nominal pressure of PN10. The wedge with a soft, double NBR seal guarantees exceptional tightness, minimizing the risk of leaks. Right-hand closing (CC) is standard in this type of installation and ensures intuitive operation. The absence of a handwheel simplifies the construction and reduces potential failure points.
