Mixing valve for solid fuel boiler installations
The ARV 487 ProClick mixing valve is a reliable solution for heating installations with solid fuel boilers. Its design allows for effective mixing of the heating medium streams, ensuring optimal temperature and protecting the boiler from low-temperature corrosion. It is ideal as a double mixing valve mounted on the supply side of the installation.
This valve is particularly useful in situations where continuous protection of the boiler against excessively low return temperature is necessary – in such cases, it is worth automating it by connecting it to an ARM ProClick actuator and an appropriate controller, or by using a controller integrated with the ACT/ARC ProClick actuator.
Construction and installation
The ARV 487 ProClick valve is primarily distinguished by the ProClick system, which enables quick and trouble-free mounting of the actuator – without the need for additional tools. Made of brass, it has internal threads, ensuring the tightness and durability of the connections. Hexagonal surfaces for a wrench facilitate installation, and a convenient knob with angle of rotation limiters allows for precise adjustment.
Additionally, the valve is equipped with:
- Clear two-sided scale (from 0 to 10 and from 10 to 0) – facilitates reading the settings.
- Indicator of the current position of the valve head – allows for continuous monitoring of the valve operation.
- Distinct thickening – increases user comfort.
Parameters and application
The ARV 487 ProClick valve with a nominal diameter of DN50 (2 inches) and Rp2" connections (cylindrical BSPT-Rp internal thread), is characterized by a Kvs flow rate of 36 m³/h. The brass housing guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation. This makes the valve suitable for demanding operating conditions in heating installations.
