Automatic venting and flood protection – PrimoVent with Aquastop
This vertical automatic air vent PrimoVent from AFRISO is a reliable solution for removing air from closed heating systems, compliant with PN-EN 12828 standard. The device not only ensures system efficiency but also provides additional safety thanks to the innovative Aquastop system, protecting against the effects of potential leaks. The air vent is suitable for both domestic and professional installations, offering ease of use and long-lasting reliability.
Functionality and construction
PrimoVent is designed to work with water and water-glycol mixtures (up to 50% concentration). Its construction based on a brass body guarantees durability and corrosion resistance. A key element is the float, which automatically opens the air valve when air accumulates in the installation. The bottom valve (R1/2 inch) allows easy removal of the air vent without the need to drain the entire system – which is particularly useful during servicing or replacement of the device. The air vent connection is G3/8 inch.
Aquastop system – safety first
The unique feature of this air vent is the Aquastop system. In the event of damage to the air valve or its contamination, special seals in the valve nut swell with moisture, tightly closing the outlet and preventing water leakage. This simple but effective solution minimizes the risk of flooding and related problems.
