Bimetallic thermometers for precise temperature measurement
The BiTh 100 bimetallic thermometer is a reliable measuring device designed to monitor temperature in a wide range of installations. Equipped with a brass separating sleeve, it ensures accuracy and durability of measurements. The thermometer housing made of galvanized steel protects it against corrosion and mechanical damage, guaranteeing a long service life even in harsh conditions.
The BiTh 100 thermometer finds application in many areas, such as heating systems, steam boilers, water supply installations, boilers, solar heating systems and heat transfer installations. Its versatility and solid construction make it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users.
Construction and characteristic features
The construction of the thermometer is based on the use of the phenomenon of different thermal expansion of metals. Inside the brass sleeve there is a spiral made of two compressed metal strips – steel and copper. Temperature changes cause the spiral to deform, which is translated into the movement of the needle on the dial. The dial made of plastic is resistant to temperatures up to 120°C, and the process connection with a size of 1/2 inch allows for easy installation in the installation.
- Wide measuring range: 0-120°C allows for use in various applications.
- Brass sleeve: Ensures corrosion resistance and durability.
- Galvanized housing: Protects against mechanical damage and external factors.
- Easy installation: 1/2 inch connection facilitates integration with the existing installation.
- Accuracy class 2.0: Guarantees precise measurements in accordance with EN 13190 standard.
- Glass/window material: Made of plastic resistant to temperatures up to 120°C
Application and installation
The BiTh 100 bimetallic thermometer is designed to measure the temperature of liquids and gases in various types of industrial and domestic installations. The installation of the thermometer is simple and intuitive – just mount the mounting sleeve with a ½” external thread in the appropriate place of the installation, and then slide the thermometer sleeve into the hole of the mounting sleeve. It is important that the thermometer is mounted in an easily accessible and visible place, protected from the effects of atmospheric factors and in the mounting position specified by the manufacturer. Remember about the possibility of zeroing the thermometer using the screw located at the end of the sleeve!
