The PrimoBox AHB 642 separation unit is a ready-made solution for connecting two heat sources to a single heating installation. The unit is ideal for, e.g., connecting a wood-burning stove with a water jacket to a closed heating system, or a pellet boiler with a gas boiler.

The set includes two Grundfos UPM3 Auto pumps, which automatically adjust performance to the heat demand. Additionally, a thermostatic valve ATV 213 (set to 45°C) protects the solid fuel heat source from too low a return temperature, and a switching valve AZV 643 allows switching between heating and domestic hot water preparation.
