An equipotential bonding bar is a key element in lightning protection and equipotential bonding systems. It serves to connect the building's structural elements, electrical installations, and media supply lines, minimizing the risk of electric shock and equipment damage. Made of electrolytically galvanized steel and brass, it provides a durable and reliable connection.
This bar is designed for making main equipotential connections, connecting protective conductors of electrical installations, metal pipeline runs (water, gas, central heating), grounding, and metal building structures. It has 10 terminals allowing the connection of conductors with a cross-section of up to 35mm² and one additional terminal dedicated to a flat conductor (ground strap) with dimensions of 4x30mm. The bar's design allows for any configuration of terminals on the brass strip, making installation and adaptation to various installation conditions easier.
Construction and application
The use of high-quality materials – electrolytically galvanized steel and brass – guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. Steel clamps (Fe/Zn) ensure a secure connection of conductors, and plastic covers (ABS) protect against accidental contact with voltage. Holes in the bar allow for sealing of connections, increasing safety.
