Lightning protection – lightning rod for wall/structure mounting

This element of the lightning protection system, 9 meters high, is designed to protect objects from the effects of lightning strikes. The lightning rod, made of durable materials – hot-dip galvanized steel and aluminum – provides effective protection for elements mounted on roofs and structures. The structure consists of a spire 4000 mm long, a support tube with a diameter of 40 mm and an additional tube with a diameter of 48 mm, giving a total height of 9000 mm. Choosing the right mounting to the wall or structure is crucial for the correct operation and stability of the lightning rod.

Materials and construction

The lightning rod is available in two material versions: hot-dip galvanized steel and aluminum. Hot-dip galvanized steel provides high corrosion resistance, which is particularly important in harsh weather conditions. Aluminum, on the other hand, is characterized by its lightness and good electrical conductivity. Different segments of the lightning rod (spire, support tube) can be made of different materials, which optimizes its properties. The weight of the entire structure is 36.1 kg.

Application and compliance with standards

This product is used in lightning protection systems for buildings and structures exposed to direct lightning strikes. Compliance with the PN-EN 62305 standard guarantees that the lightning rod meets the required safety and effectiveness standards. AH HARDT has ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certificates, which confirm a high level of quality management and care for the natural environment. The lightning rod is intended for wind zones I, II and III, which means it is adapted to different geographical and climatic conditions in Poland.
