The ALANTEC FOP-1U-24SCD-C fiber optic switch is a panel designed for building and expanding fiber optic networks in 19" rack cabinets. It provides convenient installation and servicing of connections, and its versatility allows adaptation to different types of connectors. The panel's drawer design facilitates access to connectors, which is particularly important during installation and subsequent diagnostics.

Flexibility and adaptability

The panel offers 24 SC duplex ports or the possibility of installing 24 LC quad adapters, providing great freedom in network configuration. A replaceable front panel allows the installation of various types of connectors – SC simplex, SC duplex, ST, FC, LC or E2000 – without the need to replace the entire panel. This solution allows you to adapt the switch to the specific needs of the project and future changes in the infrastructure.

Solid construction and complete equipment

The panel housing is made of powder-coated steel in black (RAL 9005), which guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Adjustable mounting ears and five holes in the rear facilitate stable mounting in the rack cabinet. The kit includes mounting elements, cable glands and cable ties, eliminating the need to purchase additional accessories. Special holders allow mounting up to four fiber optic cassettes (splice cassettes available separately). The panel dimensions are 435 mm wide, 245 mm deep and 44 mm high (1U). The tray depth when extended is 235 mm, which facilitates work with cabling.
