The ALANTEC FOP-1U-12SCD-C fiber optic panel is a solid solution for building and expanding fiber optic networks. Designed for mounting in 19" cabinets, it offers 12 SC duplex ports or 12 LC quad ports, making it a versatile element of telecommunications infrastructure. Its pull-out design significantly facilitates both installation and subsequent servicing – access to the connectors is simple and convenient.

Construction and application

The switch is designed for creating main and intermediate fiber optic distribution points. Made of powder-coated steel, it ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. A replaceable front panel with port numbering allows for flexible adaptation to different types of connectors – it supports SC simplex, SC duplex, ST, FC, LC and E2000. This allows the panel to be used in various network configurations. Five openings in the rear facilitate cable routing, and adjustable mounting ears ensure stability in the rack cabinet.
